Fanlistings are little websites where all the fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. come together for the only purpose of building the biggest listing of people all around the world who are fans of that subject. Simple and maybe useless, but highly addictive. This one, like many others, has been approved by the Anime Fanlistings Network.

Monou Kotori is a sweet and innocent girl of fragile health, raised in a peaceful shrine along with her loving father and brother. Kamui, the protagonist of the story, has been one of the most important persons in Kotori's life since they were both children. She has latent yumemi (dreamgazing) abilities, with which she foresees her own destiny, which is entwined with those of the persons she loves most: her older brother Fuuma and her beloved Kamui. She knows she only has one future, but also that the Destiny of the world is still undecided...

Why Kotori/Crystalline? Despite being hated by most of the fandom, I admire Kotori for staying pure, innocent and optimistic in that wrecked world of X. I also love her because she's fragile and weak when most of the rest of the characters are not: she's too perfect to live in a corrupted world dominated by evil. Like a small, faint light, she finally extinguishes, but what she said and did while she lived remains inside Kamui's heart. For being easily breakable, like crystal, and for being able to see her emotions through her eyes, being as pure and sincere as she is, I thought Crystalline was a perfect name ^^
